Dr Abdullah in Takhar province: we are committed to stay with all of you and to serve you well!

Tens of thousands of supporters turned out at a rally in Taloqan, Takhar province’s capital. The crowd shouted slogans in favor of Dr. Abdullah and his running-mates and they showed their enthusiasm for the upcoming election.

Dr. Abdullah in his speech criticized Karzai for recognizing Crimea and without any consideration supporting Russia’s recent stance towards the West. Additionally, he condemned Karzai’s continual support and sympathy towards terrorists and his insistence that the enemies of Afghanistan, who are killing innocent people, are our brothers.  Dr. Abdullah mentioned that the wave of support from the people during his campaign trail shows that victory is inevitable for the Reform and Partnership Team.

Engineer Mohammad Khan, Dr. Abdullah’s first running-mate, explained how the large crowds prove how much the people of Afghanistan trust us and he praised their decisiveness. Haji Mohammad Mohaqeq, Dr. Abdullah’s second running-mate, passionately expressed how the perfect opportunity to determine our own fate is now and assured the international community that the people of Afghanistan are capable of electing their own leader.
