Over 150 Representatives from the Lower House of Parliament and over 61 Senators Endorsed Dr. Abdullah Abdullah’s Candidacy for the Upcoming Run-off of the Presidential Election!


Monday afternoon, more 150 members of parliament from the lower house and more than 61 Senators from the announced that they will support Dr. Abdullah Abdullah for the presidency in the upcoming run-off at Dr. Abdullah Abdullah’s residency.


Many of these MPs spoke in front of Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and explained how the Reform and Partnership team is the only inclusive and national team.


Dr. Abdullah Abdullah praised all of them and stated how this is an historic event since such a gathering has no precedence where majority of the MPs voluntarily endorse a presidential candidate in Afghanistan.


Dr. Abdullah Abdullah told the MPs: “I express my utmost gratitude, in the behalf of all the members of the Reform and Partnership team, for supporting us during this sensitive and decisive moment.


The following MPs and Senators delivered their speech during this gathering: Mohammad Akbari, Fawzia Koofi, Mirwais Yasini, Nessar Ahmad Haris, and Rahmanughli. All of them praised the Reform and Partnership team’s comprehensive and beneficial program to bring progress, stability and prosperity in this country and said that this program convinced them to join this team.
